Classical Distortion

A visual universe designed to reveal GECA, an avant-garde orchestra that challenges the conventions of classical music.

A visibility challenge

In a landscape saturated with images, how can a contemporary orchestra stand out? Especially when classical music is still perceived as elitist, even boring. GECA is the exact opposite: organised chaos, raw energy, physical emotion. It needed a visual language that matched this tension.

A radical idea

We created Classical Distortion, an artistic shockwave. Loss of bearings, line saturation, sensory vertigo. An apparent chaos that hides a secret order: silhouettes concealed within the forms, waiting to be discovered by the curious eye.

A living design

Each poster was born from a unique shape, created from photographs of past GECA concerts. Around this raw material, structures extend and amplify its movements. The result: a design inspired by topographic maps, distorted until they become abstract scores. To embody this energy, an ultra-bold typography, fragmented and eroded by organic lines.

A sensory impact

This project embodies our belief: an orchestra is not only seen or heard, it is felt. With Classical Distortion, we transformed GECA’s image into a total visual experience, capable of translating its avant-garde musical identity.

Un défi de visibilité

Dans un paysage saturé d’images, comment faire émerger un orchestre contemporain ? Surtout quand la musique classique est encore perçue comme élitiste, voire ennuyeuse. GECA, c’est tout l’inverse : un chaos organisé, une énergie brute, une émotion physique. Il fallait un langage visuel à la hauteur de cette tension.

Une idée radicale

Nous avons créé Classical Distortion, une onde de choc artistique. Perte de repères, saturation des lignes, vertige sensoriel. Un chaos apparent qui cache un ordre secret : des silhouettes dissimulées dans les formes, prêtes à être découvertes par les plus curieux.

Un design vivant

Chaque affiche est née d’une forme unique, créée à partir de photographies d’anciens concerts de GECA. Autour de cette matière brute, des structures viennent prolonger ses mouvements. Le résultat : un design inspiré de cartes topographiques, déformées jusqu’à devenir des partitions abstraites. Pour incarner cette énergie, une typographie ultra-grasse, fragmentée et rongée par des lignes organiques.

Un impact sensoriel

Ce projet incarne notre conviction : un orchestre ne se regarde pas seulement, il se ressent. Avec Classical Distortion, nous avons transformé l’image de GECA en expérience visuelle totale, capable de traduire son identité musicale avant-gardiste.
