In a cultural landscape saturated with one-off events, Explore Demain stands apart. Not just another festival. A collective space where Geneva turns inward to imagine what it wants to become. Since 2019, the festival brings together artists, scientists, architects and citizens around one simple belief: the future is built together. Its name says it all. To explore is to accept not knowing where you'll end up.
Explore demain is a refusal of resignation. A promise of movement, carried by the State of Geneva, rooted in the territory, open to the world.
An identity equal to the ambition
Giving visual voice to a civic festival without falling into institutional codes. That was the challenge. Explore Demain doesn't speak to an audience. It speaks to an entire city. Engaged trendsetters, curious families, agents of change: one shared expectation, to be part of something that matters. The positioning doesn't try to seduce. It invites. That distinction changes everything.
A language that takes shape
Every graphic element carries the idea of openness: expansive forms, generous typography, a palette that evokes the horizon rather than enclosure. The logotype itself suggests movement. Nothing is fixed. Everything is unfolding. Each value of the festival has its own shape. Reveal, debate, exchange, bring forth, connect, imagine tomorrow: six verbs, six forms. Shapes designed to be playful without being lightweight, adaptable without dissolving. A visual vocabulary that works as well on a large-format poster as embedded within the logotype itself.
A system that breathes
From the printed programme to in-situ installations, from urban signage to digital assets, the system holds across every touchpoint without ever becoming rigid. A scalable identity, built to live in the street, on screens, and throughout the festival's spaces.
Results
A unifying brand for a festival that speaks to an entire city. A formal and chromatic system capable of spanning formats, venues and editions without losing its meaning.
