Who said love only lasts three years?
Alongside the City of Geneva, TWKS supported one of the most influential festivals in the Swiss cultural landscape across five consecutive editions. One brand. Five seasons. Five campaign identities. One single demand: provoke a reaction. Each year, the festival takes over Geneva with a fresh ambition, a sharp theme, a singular way of occupying public space and the collective imagination. Our role: translate that ambition into image. Campaign after campaign.
A foundation to build everything on
The work started with the essentials: building a brand system solid enough to last, neutral enough not to constrain creation. No overly distinctive signature identity, no overly defined visual territory. A grid, a typeface, layout rules. The bare minimum needed for each edition to exist fully, without carrying the weight of those before it. That is the paradox at the heart of cultural branding: the more discreet the foundation, the freer the campaign can be.
Five editions, five convictions
No template. No formula. Each edition starts from scratch: new concept, new visual identity, new graphic territory. From unifying themes to more provocative stances, every campaign sought to surprise, to challenge, to open space for debate. To spark conversation, provoke thought, raise a smile. To stir curiosity before the curtain even rises. That is what it means to work for a living festival. You don't manage a brand. You reinvent it every season.
A creative territory without limits
La Bâtie is a rare playground. A client that stands behind its convictions, a programme unlike any other, a place in Geneva's cultural landscape that gives permission to be bold.
